Please find below our round-up of Xero Product Updates from the last few months. And It’s a very short one this time!

With the 2024/25 Payroll year-end just around the corner, Xero will have been focusing on ensuring that this process will run smoothly. So employers can start their 2025/26 Payroll runs without hiccup.

So, as well as the few bits that Xero have developed on their core bookkeeping side, we’ve added a few other bits from the Xero-sphere that we think you’ll find interesting.

Let’s dive straight in! 🙂

🚀 CORE XERO:

You can now create multiple bills in Xero by selecting files or dragging and dropping them directly from your computer. Xero automatically creates a draft bill for each file, with key details entered, and attaches the source document. To do this, select "New Bill", "Upload Bill", and these will appear in your "Draft Bills" tab.

On "new invoicing", it's now easier to change the issue date & the due date of your invoices. Also, a neat trick, if you type "+30" in the due date box, this will calculate 30 days after the invoice date for you. 🙂

If you use stock quantities in inventory, when you create a sales invoice, this will now show in the "quantity" field.

You can now attach files to your fixed assets (such as bills, warranties, and service records) to new and existing fixed assets.

🚀 PAYROLL YEAR EnD:

With 5th April being just around the corner, Xero have released their Ultimate Payroll Year-End 2024/25 Checklist.

Everything you need to know, from completing that last run of 2024/25, to having everything in place ready for that first run of 2025/26.
